I joined Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia in October 2019. Like many adventurers, I found hike the famous ‘W’ trek but also to photograph wildlife, particularly its top predator, the elusive and rarely seen puma.

I joined the puma-tracking excursion in Torres Del Paine, led by EcoCamp’s personal wildlife expert Diego Araya and puma tracker Roberto Donoso. Following the trek, I felt a good experience of popularity of the pumas and appreciation for people who protect them. I can witness these magnificent animals inside their natural state and capture beautiful images for my travel-photography portfolio. I would strongly recommend this experience to those people who love and even protect wildlife but, like my guides Diego and Roberto, prefer that groups remain minute protect the animals and maintain the intimacy of your animal-human experience.
